That speaks loudly in regard to the generosity of our Brown School family. Thank you for helping us to "Be the Change" and teach the important lesson of looking beyond ourselves to the needs of others. On Monday I assessed the students 1-1. What a blessing to see the growth your amazing children. I enjoyed conferencing with many of you and your children. Thank you for taking the time to meet. Thank you for the wonderful response to our "Make the Change" campaign! We have not yet heard the total amount of our donation, but I know it will be impressive. I will pass the news along to you asap. Our Valentines Day party was such a great time! Each center was planned beautifully and each flowed well into the next. The children enjoyed every part of it. Thank you for your participation in helping your child with his/her project. We all enjoyed each others' "oral reports" about our collections. The 5th grade program on Wednesday was fun too. In 5th grade the students learn how to play the ukulele. They were really good. We knew many of the songs they played and sang for us too. I was sorry to miss school on Friday due to several appointments. I loved seeing the great pictures of those who dressed as if they were 100 years old. I was so sorry to miss this great event. Mrs. Gideon took some good pictures and really enjoyed the day with your wonderful children. A huge thank you goes out to all the parents who came to help get skates on and tied, help with skating and then getting them off again. We just couldn't do fun things like this without the amazing support from all of you! It was fun welcoming Hudson into our class. We finished our mid-year NWEA assessments, which always feels good. The children worked hard and did a good job of staying focused. You will get these results with T2 progress reports as I mentioned before. It feels great to see the growth since the beginning of the year. 😀 Due to a HUGE amount of Paws Tickets earned by our kindergartners, we had a great Pajama Day on Friday which included a Progressive Dance Party. We danced first in our classrooms, then went to Mrs. Lear's room and then to Ms. Sisk's room. It was big fun dancing but also to see the other classrooms. Mr. Rommel even joined us for a while.
